Sadly it's the transmission that would cause issues, and trying to find and import an m90 would be very tough and pricey!! What are your plans for it? woah4 Posted June 22, 2014 Author Report Share Posted June 22, 2014 I'm on the fence between a T6 swap (likely) or a chevy LS engine swap. One of my best friends owns a machine shop so making an adapter to use a T5 tranny or a 4L80E shouldn't be a large issue. We will see where it goes.. Likely T6 swap, relatively mild build for now, I would love to dump my spare T5 in it but shortening the 960 pan and water pipe would not be something I would look forward too.. woah4 Posted July 20, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 20, 2014 Progress has been slow, havent been very motivated to work on the car lately. I believe the water pump leak is sorted now. A couple small oil leaks to attend to but I'll get it figured out soon. Made and installed a new rear engine mohnt, it's not pretty but it works. Hardest thing now will be getting and running 4 inch intake piping. I still need better injectors, a better fuel pump, a better maf, a better clutch, and who knows what else. It's never ending, kinda getting tired of it, thinking about getting out of this and tossing an LS in the 960 and calling it done. It's annoying tossing so much at something that is still not going to be very fast, and probably pretty unreliable. Oh well Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
