There's some thinking, maybe I could use the gtp throttle body and just blow through that... Thanks for the idea!

Sorry, I should have made my post more clear, you can't have the TB after the Supercharged, it has to go before it, if you put the TB after the Supercharger, the back-pressure when you shut the throttle at high revs will cause the chargers lobes to warp and hit the casting and destroy the charger.

As a side note, the Supercharger creates a huge amount of heat, so you will loose a lot of efficiency by not having an intercooler.

Ever figure out the switch blade key? I had my key cut for the switch blade and wanna make the remote part work too

Gut the s70 remote, line the guts up as best you can with buttons on switchblade, cut your own little plastic tabs to connect switchblade buttons to proper points on S70 guts, secure guts, button up, did one for the S40 but never got it programmed due to rape fees

Never did get the key working, the car is in storage right now. And I see what you mean about the TB, the gtp throttle body does go before the blower, it mounts on the air inlet. As far as cooling is concerned the turbo will still run through the front mount and then the blower will not initally be cooled but I will probably get some water meth on there after the blower to help it out. It is still a long way off, the rods are going in the car first, and I will probably put on a different turbo also, This may eventually become a project to put on an NA car in the future or something like that, just for fun, and since people dont do it

Got the old Ovlov fired up again Saturday, didn't crank 2 seconds, its been sitting since January. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't done it but let me tell you that cam timing made a HUGE difference. I have both cams advanced now and instead of running around -6psi at idle (around 11hg) the car now runs -9psi (18 or so hg) which I feel is reasonable considering the mileage on the engine and everything about it is better. There is less lag, it holds more boost and my god does it pull. When I used to hit second gear it would bog down, and then take off again, now it either spins the tires or just rips. Good times indeed. Moving to Toronto this summer where I will have a garage to keep the car in, and the engine will be getting rebuilt, finally getting those rods in. And if my budget allows either a GT3076 or GT3582. Time will tell! But I'm super happy I finally got it running half decent and I can't wait to get it down to the track and see how she runs! Cheers,

Billy

I honestly advanced them as far as the gears would allow, both intake and exhaust. Probably not wise but I can tell you it improved the way its running. This car is M4.4 tuned and i would like to keep it that way, but otherwise probably megasquirt. Im not real familiar with aftermarket systems, I have a friend with a Haltec on a talon and he seems to like it but I really dont even know what options I have

Began stripping out the 855 today with two of my buddy's, got it down near as makes no difference 300lbs (measured on a scale), and I still have quite a bit left to go... Still have to remove the hitch, roof rails, stock intercooler, AC condenser and lines, front carpet and sound deadening, and replace the front seats with a set of one piece race buckets I'm getting from a friend. All in all I'll probably be near 450lbs lost when all is done. Reinstalled the R bumper, pegs and rear spoiler today. One thing I will say, is that even with a GENEROUS amount of rust check applied on installation, those TA's are so rusty it isn't even funny. If you use your car in the winter, I DO NOT recommend them, as they become near impossible to adjust when road salt and rust build up on the threads. I'll post pics of the weight savings later, hope to hit the track Friday and get a better time... 14's anyway, I still have ZERO traction all the way through second lol. Cheers

So they were closed yesterday in sparta, found that out after driving all the way down from kitchener lol. I was under the impression they would be open so I called and the owner Jay answered and said he would actually come back from london to let my buddies and I get some runs in, really awesome guy! We were the first people to run this year, and the only people last night lol. The track was completely unprepped, no glue or anything and it was actually raining on and off, puddles on the track and the whole bit. Even still I managed my best 1/4 so far, with a 15.0 at 96mph. No traction whatsoever in first or second and mild slip in third. The guy running the tree said with the way my car was running if I could get the power down a mid 13 would seem reasonable. So that made my night! Hoping to go back this summer when I can get it to hook and see what it will actually do, I have a long way to go with my boost also as even though I get 18-19psi on the street I cant hold it to redline and I end up around 12psi instead. But certainly a huge improvement from any other time I have ran the car. Cheers

More Progress! Timing belt off, Turbo off, Front clip removed with rad, condenser and stock intercooler, Finally getting around to deleting stuff like the AC and headlight wipers which is nice. Cruise and heater will likely be going also, still on the fence about the power steering. Anyway more pictures of the madness, every time I remove something I find more dirt. I have ALOT of work to do lol but this what happens with a car from the north east with half a million kms on it. More later!
