BEJinFBK
In '95, there were only SC-710 and SC-811 radio options. Neither had ASC and the harness didn't have the VSS lead. Schematics confirm VSS on connector C on the cluster showing on pin 1, at 12 pulses per rotation. The SC-815 was introduced in the '96 models and does feature Active Sound Control: The ASC function automatically adjusts the volume level of the audio system according to driving speed. To deactivate ASC depress the "CD" button until "ASC" is no longer displayed. To activate ASC, depress the "CD" button until "ASC" is displayed (approx. 2 seconds). If you have a '96, the Yellow/Black VSS lead should be at pin 7 of speaker connector ( B ) at the radio.

Malvasi
Found it. Behind the gauge cluster there is a cover that you can remove (use a utility knife to cut part of the 4 sides). Behind that there will be 2 male blade connectors. These should output a digital signal of 24 pulses per tire revolution (both are the same). Non-invasive and simple way to access the VSS. Specifically intended for accessories that need a vehicle speed signal. Thank you Serge. I too found that the 95's didn't have the VSS behind the radio but this will work and I am getting tired of not having the nav work on my D3! Thanks again,
