burnout8488
Because they're wired in series, one bad pad will take out the whole system. Only way to find out is to probe the connectors for each pad and see which ones are open resistance.

cruzer555
Who sits in the back and complains of a cold ass? This! I've been wondering the whole thread why people are all excited about rear seat heat... Must have a lot of passengers in the dead of winter? burnout8488
This! I've been wondering the whole thread why people are all excited about rear seat heat... Must have a lot of passengers in the dead of winter? Bingo :-) Every weekend we seem to get dinner with a bunch of friends... and I'm usually the driver. My car has pleased many asses in the winter months. (take that as you will)
boxpin
If you have the connectors back by the rear seats the car is already pre-wired. What you wont have is the single harness that goes through your console. The 850s have individual switches. The harness handles both. I have everything to add heated seats to the rear...I will get a picture of it later today.
Kevin.
Would you be inclined to sell such a harness?

I'm curious to see how the 850 setup is wired.
