Mogatu'r
In case the subject didn't make any sense lol, I'm going to drop the entire subframe along with wiring harness out of a '99 xc70, and swap it with a '98 n/a making it a '99 Xc70 non turbo. Here's the story; first, I have a '99 xc70 olive green that was given to me at work, exterior is PERFECT and the interior is pretty damn nice too. Car overheated, and is been sitting for over a year. Second, my dd with 114k with a bad a$$ 32mpg engine, new t belt, waterpump, pulleys, distributor cap, with maybe 600 miles on those parts, was rear ended . This was my very first n/a Volvo, and still heartbroken about it . Sooo, call me crazy but I'm going to drop the n/a subframe and all, and put it in the xc70 lol. I've ran several scenarios in my head, and it all seems like this might work. Thoughts? Ideas? Anyone think is possible? Thanks.
Kevin.
I can't really see any hiccups other than maybe fuel lines but they should be the same EDIT: I know on the 850s the turbos and N/As have different fuel lines depending on the year but I'm not sure on the X70s. Grab the fuel lines just in case

Mogatu'r
Well, I think both have the fpr over the ps rack. I'm such excited to make this xc a lot more reliable, and less problematic lol.
Piston Slapper
Pretty sure you'll need to swap the gauge cluster from the '98 as well, the '99 ones won't play nice without their paired ECU.
