flaco Posted July 30, 2013 Report Share Posted July 30, 2013 I've been using a cassette adapter for a couple years now (on a SC816). Seems the deck finally broke as it only auto-reverses until the adapter is ejected. I've tried other known good adapters with the same result. I also tried a cassette with tape removed and a partially gutted adapter and the deck still rejects it. I can easily solder a headphone wire internally to use as the aux input, but there is no point unless the auto-reverse feature is disabled. Any other way to get the deck to play for >5 seconds? Before someone suggests it, NO, I don't want to pay $100 for the blitz adapter. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
