slarti
I'm getting a 241 engine code on my dad's 95 850 turbo with 185K miles. There is no check engine light on, but he said that it came on then after I did an oil change it wasn't there. I doubt that the oil change fix it but it did seem strange. The Haynes book said it "low flow egr", but it doesn't really say what could cause that. Any ideas?Maybe this should be another topic but I'll ask anyway. On my 96 850R, if the key is in the "on" position but the engine isn't running, there is a vibration and hum from under the throttle body cover, is that normal? Thanks

DEWFPO
I had that code show up on our 960 three different times. Each time it came up the engine had been cold and I needed to get on it a little. I reset the code each time and it hasn't come back on in a year. When I replaced the intake manifold gasket recently I cleaned the flow sensor. So far so good. DEWFPO
Bay13
The vibration you are hearing/feeling under the throttle cover is the Idle air motor and it gets power when you have the key on.The 241 code can be fixed using the bottom link.http://www.volvospeed.com/Repair/egr.htm
