Ebay Camber Plates

You know those are considered a mod right?

I need new spring seats anyways and I'm sick of the coilover spring seats destroying the factory seat right away. It's not a mod, it's an upgrade. :P Besides the GLT is still getting a 16T, whites, R ecu, and my exhaust. But I don't consider those modifications.

Yeah that's my problem too, I've been through two sets of rubber spring seats this year. But since I have the TA's which have the smaller springs and metal seats, I'm going to go ahead and order a set of these next payday. I don't mind being a guinea pig, if these turn out like I hope they will. I'll report back when I get them on their way

It's because the metal spring perch sits on the metal sleeve that goes through the rubber spring seat. So that pushes that rod through the spring seats and puts a lot of stress on the center there. I had taken a set of factory seats and ground down the metal sleeve until the TA spring seat sat on the rubber feet of the factory spring seat to disperse the weight, but I still blew through a set in a year an a half ish.

Tis what tis. Stupidity at its best. I've got most of the extra parts I need as long as its just valve damage, and some of the extra parts if its more than that. But I'll get some money and time soon to tear it open and get it fixed...

And then I will get some of these camber plates if they end up being the real shiz niz.

you'll have indentations, but it should be just that on pistons and it will be fine and taking 2.3l head off without VVT is really easy just change all seals including your crank when you're there and even with VVT it is not bad if you set it at 0 you just keep the cams locked and pop the head off without taking the exhaust, turbo or DP off at all other that loosing it up the exhaust that is and find an allen wrench that is right thickness to support/suspend the exhaust manifold from right rear to block so it will not drop and keep it in that height as you pry up and slide the head towards front off...even replacing pistons from bottom is not bad while engine is in is not bad...and I had camber plates with coil-overs and to me nothing is better that stock set up with yellow HD bilsteins with IPd spring for front and for me with rear jaguar XJ6 with HD bilsteins converted set up, but that is quite bit of work to make and weld the base and you would not get a drop it as you would with coil-overs or Ipd rear springs ... .

i don't know why those pics are miniature? they were not like that when i upload them back then.

I'm intrested, my only issue would be the nuts that they supply. I know between my Koni Sports and Bilstien HD they are different. So what are these suposed work with stock?

Also I don't think the curve is going to be an issue as other adjustable camber plates are flat too.

Not all adjustables are flat...
