blkaplan
That looks sweet. Wonder what the retail would be like on a set of those? http://www.kaplhenke.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=51&Itemid=32 345 per pair, pretty cheap when you compare similar quality plates. woah4
Yeah that's not bad at all. More than I can do, but for the quality I'm sure that is more than worth it.
woah4
Okay! Plates arrived today, fairly fast shipping (to Canada) Everything looks good! Quite impressed with the initial quality, better than I expected. I will post pictures later! -Billy
woah4
Ok! Here are some pictures of the plates as they arrived, I will be installing them this Saturday, and I will put up some pictures of the install after it is completed as well. Enjoy! P.S. Yes I know I need a better camera. But It's all I've got for now and I'm making it work Cheers, -Billy

woah4
Ok here they are. Install was quick and easy, I feel they did improve my ride, I have more shock travel now for sure. I like them, but it almost seems like the adjustment bolts are too close to the strut tower, I will try and get pictures later to show that more. The other thing I do not like, Is that when steering, they keep the strut shaft in place, and let the strut housing turn, whereas with stock mounts the housing and shaft turn as one, and the mount rotates within itself. I feel as though this will be bad for the struts and seals in the long run, I suppose time will tell. Otherwise very nice, again quite pleased with the finished quality of them, and they add a little more eye candy anyhow. Sorry for the only installed picture being in the dark, I was doing my turbo swap as well and it took me awhile. I will get better photos later, still have to clean my engine bay. Enjoy. -Billy
rcstdad
I'm curious of the nut between the spring seat and the under side of the plate. Would you nut just use the upper nut to hold the complete assembly together?
woah4
You probably could get away without it, but the product image on eBay shows it as Spring seat, cross nut, spacer, plate, top nut I no longer have my cross nuts, I misplaced them, so instead I used the top nuts that came with the TA's there, and you have to use the top nuts from the plates on the top of them as they have chamfers to fit the ball socket. so that's what I did. Seems to work fine, I thought about not using the lower nuts but I figured I would do it as depicted by the manufacturer, and so far so good.
