FrankenMoose
I'm looking to gauge interest in a Dyno Day at a Pacific Northwest facility: WHAT: Dyno Day (8 hours) or 1/2 Day (4 hours) on a AWD Capable Dyno WHERE: FAME Auto Service/DynoAuthority - 18028 Redmond Way #34, REDMOND, WA 98052 WHEN: Dyno available for Dyno Days on Saturdays only, starting at 8am. Date will be scheduled as soon as we know how many cars, and what Saturday works for everyone. COST: Depends on how many cars want to run. 3-6 Cars can do 2-3 pulls on the Dyno in a 1/2 Day session; 7-10 cars in a full day session (2-3 pulls). 1/2 Day session, $400; Full day $800. The Details: The Dyno is AWD/FWD/RWD capable. The more similar the cars are, the quicker the Dyno can be turned over between cars. So, only Volvos will be accepted for this Dyno Day. AWD Cars will go first, followed by the FWD models. This order will facilitate the calibration of the Dyno when switching between the AWD and FWD platforms. DynoAuthority needs all data on the cars to be tested: Year, Make, Model, Platform (AWD vs FWD). Knowing this ahead of time will make for quick turnovers, and sets the order of runs. No date or reserve has been placed as of yet. A deposit from each participant will be collected in order to secure the date. Reply to this post if interested with Saturday date you would be available. If there is enough interest, we can take the next step and schedule a date for the Dyno Day, and collect the deposits. rusheR
Yes! I was thinking same thing or to go to drags. I'm in 100%, I need a baseline dyno. How aboutSeptember 14th? The place in like 10min away from me and across the street from Josh LaMunyon work. :)

LaMunyon
I'd love to hit the dyno but I do work Saturdays until 2pm not sure if that's a problem or not. Already used up all my vacation time :(
goldponcho
Gimme the keys, Josh. I'm probably down for a good baseline on the yellow. Which reminds me, you should see if Kris wants to bring the wagon?
Kraske
I like how you made a provision for RWD cars I could show up to clock the highest NA horsepower and lowest overall horsepower again. But probably I'll save my money
kalvin
I'll come up but probably won't dyno. Not a fan of the inconsistencies.
