Robot.

Been getting a lot of work done recently:

Got the valve bank set up for automated control of the pneumatic control system:

I also decided to make my own coolant system. It uses a venturi vacuum generator usually used for picking up light parts with a suction cup. The vacuum port is connected to a coolant reservoir (currently a water bottle lol) and gets sent to the nozzle inside the dust shroud:

I realized I didn't have any pictures of the back of the robot, in particular the Y-axis support structure:

The DeviceNet (Industrial Can Bus) node to control the router and status light, and read the coolant vacuum sensor, proximity sensors on the Z-axis homing cylinder, and the three laser stock homing sensors:

Air prep unit, valve bank, bug-out button, and my hand made front control panel:

Got a new O-Flute from amazon, and give it a shot with the coolant system:

The results came out fantastic I think, and I have also decided to name the robot Johnny 3, as Short Circuit was my favorite movie when I was kid, and it's a 3 axis robot :D

Planning on making a few parts this weekend for my racing Sim

All the axis panels are off and it's set up in my bedroom again. No milling for a bit. However, i can now scan in a part using a laser at +/- 0.004 mm in the x and y axis and +/- 0.0005 mm accuracy in the z direction.
