wheelsup
I have a 1999 V70. Car has no codes. It's been driven roughly 150 miles and still won't show ready status on 3 systems. In NC you can get a waiver but you must spend $200, which is dumb in my case because...there is nothing wrong with the car... I have seen several drive cycles published. Unfortunately they are incredibly complicated and just not accomplishable in their published form where I am. Any thoughts? What am I doing wrong here? wheelsup
Ok nevermind, looks like NC will grant a waiver for a "reasonable mileage change". I have over 100 miles.
Ihatespeedbumps
haha! I've had people drive for over 2 months with no codes stored and the monitors still didn't set. Glad you got the waiver.
burnout8488
Took 4500mi on my girlfriend's 850, glad you weren't required to play the waiting game!! :-)
wheelsup
That's insane. I got the car inspected today with the waiver. With my 850 it's a '95 so fortunately I don't need to do an OBD2 check with it. Waiver is good for a year this '99 will be gone in a month or so (I hope). I like the 70 series, very comfy seats, drives well, rides great, but all the eletronic gizmos make me worried.
