2016 Presidential Campaign

An interesting read.  Answers many questions about why he ran and what he hoped for:

Of course it's all lies and inaccuracies because the Donald is never wrong.  The Donald only does great things and he wins at everything he does.

Gary, have you ever spent considerable time outside of the US?

Sorry I missed this.  Yes, I lived in Germany for 3+ years and traveled extensively in Europe and South America.  Where are we going with this?  ;)

No that's you as you seem to point out in every post.  You are the winner.  You big winner you.  Winner Winner chicken dinner.  That's your motto you winner!

Right, as opposed to Hillary, who is a beacon of integrity and hope (rolls eyes). But I guess I understand your position... since you've stated you already know what she'll do (again, rolls eyes).

So one woman's opinion about Trump is the absolute conclusion? I think my 8 year old son has more experience to run this nation than the guy we have now. And who gives a crap if he didn't expect to make it this far? What difference does that make?

I'll be voting for Trump if (or more likely when) it comes down to him vs Hillary. Of the guys that ran he wouldn't be my first choice, actually probably closer to last as far as the Republican options; but I'll take him over Hillary. Trump train or plane... if or when it rolls around, I'm on it... woot woot woosh woosh!!

I'm glad we've reached a point of understanding on this.  My work is done here.

I wouldn't vote for Hillary unless the worst candidate possible was running against her.  I absolutely despise the woman.  But I recognize actual competence and experience even if I disagree with her politics.  That's what this comes down to.

Your conclusion not mine.  I simply said it was interesting and explained many things.  Is it entirely factual?  It's a he said/she said but it fits the narrative that has come out of other Trumpists and those in his sphere over the last 9 months.

Why does it matter?  Obviously if you think Obama is dumber than an 8 year old then no, it won't matter to you.  If that works for you fine.  Personally I see something different.  I voted for Obama the first time in part because I was disturbed at the possibility of putting John McCain in office - a guy who demonstrated sheer irrationality by selecting a female puppet who was only slightly less incompetent than the Donald for his Vice President. The economy had fallen off the cliff and McCain had no answers to that problem.  Throw darts at him all you want but let's take a look at where the economy and the unemployment rate is today vs where it was when Obama took office. I voted against him in 2008 because I believed Romney offered the best possible option to lead.  He however catered too much to the right wing ultraconservatives and cratered his own campaign.

Experience matters.  Donald has none of it and he has demonstrated no interest in learning about the types of issues the Commander in Chief and leader of the Executive Branch needs to understand.  So would I choose a calculating politician over an ignorant, irrational mouthpiece? Every single time.

As for who wins?  If it's Hillary against the Donald it won't matter how you or I vote.  It will matter what the women and minorities think and with Donald carrying a 75% unfavorable rating with them it's pretty much a slam dunk for Hillary.

unless Hillary starts catching stuff from the FBI (already happening and is getting worse and worse)

I'm incredibly surprised that people are supporting Hillary when she literally has the poking FBI investigating her

Bernie. He actually cares about people and is willing to work with both sides to achieve a common goal. He has a lot of respect by everyone, interestingly enough by a lot of Republicans. It's hard to stuff talk someone that does what is right and actually listens to people

Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama are two of the luckiest politicians to ever aspire to higher office.  It's a study of idiocy within the Illinois Republican and eventually National Republican Party how a lowly State Senator vaulted from teaching courses at a local University to US Senator to President in the space of 4 years. He walked right into office with a skilled approach for how to make it happen (everyone acknowledges his organizing effort and management of the primaries was stellar) coordinated with running against some of the worst possible candidates in the background of one of the worst Presidents (W) this country has seen.

2016 should be a year the Republicans just flat out trounce the Democrats.  Hillary shouldn't stand a chance.  But once again Republicans and so-called Republicans are stumbling all over the place. It isn't pretty.

Hillary hovercraft (sliding above the stupidity with ease): whoosh whoosh

What are you doing to help change that Kevin?  Did they prove that smoking pot and drinking and driving actually repair the ozone?

Kevin was talking about climate change / global warming / whatever you want to call it. What does intoxicants have anything to do with the conversation? Especially considering how ignorant your implication is. You have contributed almost nothing of value to the conversation. All you're doing is mocking people. At least Matt can manage to hold something that resembles an exchange of ideas. So far, you've only demonstrated shallow reasoning and attacking people.

I always forget that Gary is so good at trolling that it's believable (sometimes :blockhead: )

My bet is that Gary is a republican that is tired of the same old stuff and Trump is looking to break the foundation of the whole party. Also willing to bet that Gary isn't a homophobic asshole either
