sjmcarz
2000 S70, I know they can be drilled, but going to the JY to get one and was wondering if a hammer and chisel is effective. Planning to bring a cordless drill but is there another way to get them off in case I have issues with the drilling? Thanks
Tightmopedman9
I've cut them off with some burley wire cutters, I once used some tin snips. Either way it is a major PITA. I would recommend just bringing a cordless drill.
jschaefer7406
Hello, If they're the correct Volvo rivets, they're plastic/aluminum and are easily cut with wire cutters. I usually make one cut from the center outward, then "peel" the head off in a circular fashion (if that makes sense ). As long as they're not steel, shouldn't be too difficult . Hope this helps, Joe

laird
Drill really doesn't work, the rivets end up spinning. Diagonal cutters are boss. Drill really doesn't work, the rivets end up spinning. Diagonal cutters are boss.
