Tyler T5R
Actually, my 850 had brand new headlights and new bulbs, so the headlights were pretty good since the reflectors were still shiny. But old 850 or v70 headlights are definitely not good.

rmorse
:( I always forget about the AWD issues haha
NEU
It's not AWD drivetrain issues, it's lowering AWD issue. And really it's just the rear that's the "issue".
rmorse
Right. Like I said, AWD issues. The crap that people with AWD have to put up with. Expensive to lower the rear Have to drop the fuel tank to change the fuel pump Hard as hell to change the turbo return seal AWD explodes if you look aggressively at it. NEU
Bobby, I agree with you fully! Although if you know what you are doing it's not that $$ to lower. Just wish I knew it before I spend the $$ on TME AWD lowering springs.. I will say the one issue I don't have that you FWD guys do is a big one. Traction! And I'm not just talking about snow or even rain, I'm talking about dry pavement too. When it's slick out on the roads, how gentle do you have to be with the throttle? Cause I don't. rmorse
That's not fair haha. I have to baby the throttle whenever it's wet out. :(
andyb5
On all fairness, Hussein isn't exactly gentle on his AWD and its fine. Hell, he proved (on the dyno) it'll approach a 50/50 power split
WayAway
Im not exactly gentle on my AWD. I lowered it without a problem. Besides a re-spindled angle gear and V/C bushing and keeping the driveshaft out during the summer. Ive been mudding, constant drifting in the snow, corners like a mutha.....To be honest awd is just like any other part on a car...MAINTAIN IT! simple anyway, flooring it in the rain is ubar awesome
Piston Slapper
What kind of uncultured swine doesn't lower their car? I'll be lowering it... from XC height to R/AWD height. Still plenty of room for tires. I'll put up some pictures in a little bit, currently has a damaged green XC hood on to keep rain out. I'm waiting on a head gasket set to come in from IPD. So, story is, coworker's wife wrecked her green XC, he bought this bronze one with a snapped T belt for parts. I wanted a project and <3 the bronze. Will post 'before' pics soon.
