whatme
I was wondering what kind of stuff you can do with the wastegate. I am sort of clueless on turbos and i always hear people saying stuff about messing with the wastegate. what exactly does it do and what can you do to it? But also lag. Can't have'em all
Overboost850
Just leave it alone, self-defeating "mod" on these and most cars. B)

What people mean (on this site at least) by messing with the wastegate is that they've changed what boost level the wastegate opens at, so that the turbo builds more boost before the gasses start to bypass. It's really a pointless mod though (as has been pointed out) because the car's computers adjust accordingly for the changes, thus putting you more or less back at square one. Running an MBC to bring boost on sooner is probably better, IF YOU ARE SUFFICIENTLY CAREFUL.
