Leaked? maybe if this was 3 weeks ago.

By my calendar today is 11/26 when they said they were going to present the next Polestar.

Happy to see Volvo still sees potential in a high performance wagon for Stateside.

Will these have balls and manual transmissions or just pretty paint jobs and big wheels ? All show, no go ?

It has flappy paddles...my guess is Jeremy Clarkson will be delivering a review similar to his take on the Maserati Quattroporte:

To begin with, it was available only with a hopeless flappy paddle ’box that just didn’t work. So now they’ve fitted an auto. And that doesn’t work either. Not since the Escort XR3i Cabrio have I driven anything that feels so... flobbery.

Sure, you would put up with small problems to have a car that looked like this, in the same way you’d put up with some small problems if Angelina Jolie decided one day that she’d had enough of Brad and fancied being married to you. But if one day you came home and found her doing something mad, like cleaning the cooker with her tampons, you’d leave.

Look at episode 2 of Season 20 of Top Gear. The Renault Clio is an amazing car with great features but he says it: the flappy pedals kill it for him.

A manual gearbox and 3 pedals is where it's at.

The C30 was the last car Volvo cars offered with a manual box. When I asked VCNA people about the return of a manual, they all said it was unlikely for North America; however, they said the same thing when I asked them about bringing back a non-XC wagon four years ago ...
