I have seen a lot of these plug in reset tools for the epb and for the service light reset. Anybody use these yet? Do they actually work or is it crap? Which one have you used? It will make my life much easier not having to read the car with VIDA every time I do rear brakes. I know you can manually move them but VIDA is still faster and Ive seen them break doing that. crazykn Posted January 21, 2014 Report Share Posted January 21, 2014 If you buy a set of brake pads for the rear brakes, it does tell you how to deal with the electronic parking brake WITHOUT using VIDA. I forget the exact details, but the electric parking brake can be removed with two bolts behind the backing plate.
