Build a larger plenum while you're at it. No point wastingTig/ gas welding the stock plenum back.I don't see an M66 in any of the pics.....

My engine couldn't make enough power to constitute making a new plenum. Welding is free as I've found some kids at my school to do it for me;) Already stretching my current budget with the engine swap, so I'll have to make due till the end of summer when I can afford to do it the right way=P No driving like an **s hole until then guess lol.

I do have an extra plenum lying around though so I can definitely do some work on it in the future=)

Hehe hopefully no more clearencing will be necessary;) Yeah she's really fun to work on. I've always been in to American muscle and all that, but after working on my XC I've found a new love for Volvos. I'll definitely keep the pics coming there's plenty more to do=)

No M66 swap?

No, not yet=( College this semester took a whole lot more out of my budget than I anticipated. I'll be saving up this summer so I can do it the right way during fall though.

Don't waste all that time on the ports & intake to then put back the stock plenum. I'm gonna keep saying it. Otherwise it's all a big waste of time Especially since you spent all that time cutting the stock one off.

Ok, I haven't started porting yet so maybe I'll reconsider. If I really won't see any gains perhaps I should throw the stock on on. Though it's not nearly as shiny lol. I really would like a custom intake manifold though. I don't want to start making one until I understand a bit more about aerodynamics and have a program to help me.

I like your design though. Do you feel you could have made some improvements or done something different?
