Anyone Ever Monitored Denso Injector Pulse Width During Start Up

Hi all, I'm having some trouble diagnosing an '04 v70 N/A denso setup. I find specs of 2000-4000 microseconds ( with vida) at idle but no spec for start up (i.e. engine is flooding and does not start). I have cleaned spark plugs, even installed new and added some atf to cylinders to help with fuel wash. I have unplugged injectors and tried to spin it over, etc. Vida is showing injector pulse of 19000 to 30000 microseconds while cranking engine which seems very high to me. (equates to 19-30 ms) All inputs seem within range, so I'm suspecting faulty ECM.

Due to Immobilzer etc cannot easily swap known good, and Denso ecm is pricey. Just trying to eliminate all else before calling it.

I've verified cam timing (has vvt on intake only) , fuel pressure with sensor and gauge in spec 380-400, maf g/s 1.6-1.8 while cranking, ect 62f in shop, ambient and map apprx 1000hpa, cranking rpm 170-200 ish, cam sensor spec is "off" to "on" while turning as vida description indicates. I have pulled cam sensor out & observed cam is turning fine. I don't have much denso stuff laying around to swap & try. I've tried disconnecting various sensors even though inputs look ok, still flooding & no start. The injector pulse is standing out as possible ecm fault.

The car was being driven and just died, towed to me.

It had some random codes BCM comm, etc, don't recall all of them but they cleared out and there are currently no codes with this flooding and no start.

I have measured can h & l on high speed network and are ok, along with related fuses.

I assume if the vvt failed and cam was off (even though sprocket/belt line up) I would likely have compression issue, perhaps cam sensor codes and I've never seen that failure. Anyone else ran across this?

thanks for any help
