hgray14
I'm currently running 215/45/ZR17 tires but have found a pair of wheels with near new tires but in 205/45/ZR17. I know that means the new ones are 10mm thinner, and hence the height of the sidewall will be smaller too. As long as I keep the two new wheels/tires on the same axle, should this cause any problem? thanks
Piston Slapper
It could confuse the ABS but it won't actually harm anything on a non-AWD car.
burnout8488
205/45-17 is the factory size for 17's on the 850. It's exactly what the Rs came from the factory with. But no, shouldn't cause problems as long as they're on the same axle. Hopefully the ABS has enough tolerance built in to compensate for the different speeds. hgray14
hmmm...hadn't thought about the ABS as an issue. Well, I actually want the two wheels as backups for my current set and the tires were going to be an added bonus (well...if I get them for the right price.) Is $100 a decent price for a decent Volan? (They have curb rash.)
