monsterv
My s60 has about 162k and the belt was last replaced at 80k so since I have saved $$ I was looking at doing the TB for it. I have found some good guides on line to doing it but is there some specifics I should check for the R design? I haven't needed to do anything to it except new tires in the past two years. Also where is the best place to purchase the belt? If I'm gonna do it I want it to last a while Thanks ahead of time for the help.

Ihatespeedbumps
Nothing different on the R models. As others mentioned, make sure you do the tensioner, idler, water pump and belt. I think FCPeuro.com has some Conti kits that have everything you need.
monsterv
Found this http://www.fcpeuro.com/products/volvo-timing-belt-kit-and-water-pump-kit-comprehensive-tbkit331wp1-oe Good deal for all real Volvo parts. Didn't think to change everything that belt runs, thanks for the info. Hopefully won't be too much of a PITA.
Keaton85
That's way over priced, but if it makes you feel all warm and fuzzy because it's in a blue box then sweet!
