atenza_freak
A guy with a auto HPT 2001 c70 is selling a xemodex ETM on swedespeed. Can i use it if the only difference is mine is a manual trans? Or could the software still be screwed up? I tried calling Xemodex company but there closed today. TIZIO AKA 1 HND MEC
I swapped one on my 02 S60, no problem at all( I guess I got lucky), generally you need a trip to the dealer to "blend in " the new part.
atenza_freak
Hmm I ordered it I'll just wait to install till xemodex gives me a answer.
andyb5
It should be fine. All turbo cars use the same ETM programming.
Keaton85
It's more common for them to swap then to not. I had a white label on my 2001 V70 T5M and used a Yellow label from an S80, so yup, not really an issue as long as it's turbo to turbo and N/A to N/A. On the rare side that you MIGHT need programming, it shouldn't cost much.
