BGord850R Posted April 19, 2014 Report Share Posted April 19, 2014 Someone broke into my car and stole the owners manual stop i can't find information on my 97 850r sterio, I'm not sure if the amp is blown or there is a problem with the speakers, but the sterio is underpowered and has absolutely no bass... my problem is, i can't find the amp. Kevin. Posted April 21, 2014 Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 on 850R's the amp is behind the radio above the heater core either your headunit is busted or your amp is bad. For what it's worth, 960s use the same headunit as the 850R's and they are easier to find than the R's.
