I'd like it to be under $1500 but might be able to push it to $2k if there aren't a lot of problems or the problems aren't expensive ones. I'm planning on doing a manual swap so problems that require some major disassembly are OK. Preference would be for a T-5R estate (any color) or a Red/Tan 850R estate. I'd jump through some extra hoops to get either of those. Might be open to a Platinum Edition estate as well. I'm in the Boston area and I'd like the car to be within a day's drive of here (that gets me as far west as eastern Ohio and as far south as North Carolina), although I have family in the Midwest that we're due to visit so I wouldn't completely rule out anything north of Memphis and as far west as the vicinity of the Mississippi River. If the car's cheap enough that I have money left over for shipping I'm open to anywhere in the lower 48. Preference would be for a car good enough to drive home as our tow vehicle is a 99 V70 NA 5-speed, but that's a preference not a requirement.
