boxpin Posted April 29, 2014 Report Share Posted April 29, 2014 I upgraded my oil pan to an RN pan. The pan did not come with the oil pickup tube so I purchased it separately. Its from a 2001 V70 2.4 and is described as being compatible with 2001-2002 N/A and Turbo engines. It arrives, fits and looks good but there is no filter screen inside it. My 2.3 pickup has a screen and every other pickup tube I have seen has a screen. I am hoping that someone has their engine apart and can look at this for me. Is it supposed to have a screen?
