For_Sale
FS my trustworthy dark blue tan interior 98 S70 T5M. One of the few original T5M straight from volvo. I would not hesitate to drive this car from coast to coast, twice But body and interior are not exactly mint, so Im asking 4k. Reason for selling? Bought a C30 today. Its served me well during the past years (bought 1/2010 with 120k miles). Currently 170K miles. Over the period Ive owned it, Ive changed all wear items and then some. Religious 5K oil changes always using HDEO. Currently located in Rockford, IL (about an hour west of Chicago). Used to live in FL before moving up here in 2012. The good: everything under the hood works perfectly. Engine, trans, brakes, ABS, steering, suspension, etc. In average shape: body, paint and interior (rattles quite a bit, thank you IL roads). Its got a few door dents here and there. Clearcoat on the roof is starting to crack. Same with bumpers. I wax it every couple months and that has slowed down the damage since I first noticed it two years ago. 99% of spares have been bought from DW. No OE or aftermarket crap. Blue box volvo parts for EVERYTHING (except as listed below). Burn-E
If you're not in a hurry to sell then nail your price down and quit dropping it every 7 days. Otherwise a buyer will think why not wait until it drops further. If the described condition is accurate then $3500 is a fair price for this car. These cars don't sell overnight and if you have it listed in CL patience is called for.
flaco
Looking at kbb and edmunds the initial 4k was optimistic. So 3k is reasonable and listing adjusted accordingly. Thanks for your helpful comment (not).
Burn-E
I know more than KBB and NADA do when it comes to fair price range on a 98 S70 T5M. I track these cars nationwide and have helped many members find a car. Ask any of the OG's on the forum. I'm just trying to help you out.
