I kinda think this looks cool... Does anyone know if you can get street legal tires that have this? I searched and searched for pics, but I can't find any, and I know I've seen Yokohama Tires with "Yokohama" written in yellow. anyone?

I put this in performance cause I figured we'd be talking about "performance" tires...

I was going to say something bad, but I stopped mysef :)

I think it is street legal I don't understand why not. I see a lady in her dodge interpid with the yellow letter tires all the time around here.

Just get a yellow sharpie :) or yellow paint, that way you can probably wash it off it you dont like it.

ANd dont bother coloring in the bvlack letters make new ones like this

"Kevins tires"

Or

"kevin is cooler than you will ever be"

something catchy that will grab peoples attention

:) :) :) :) :)

i thought that was strictly a Pzero thing assimetrico's and all the R compounds.

alot of other R compound tires will have flashy lettering.. i agree it does look cool.

theres a saleen stang around here w/ pzeros w/ the "pzero" in yellow, and all the ferraris around here have that too...

I believe Goodyear makes some. I was going to put some on our Lightning when we had it for a NASCAR look.

Ok, I just got off the phone with Yokohama, and Michelle told me that guys are just using a stencil and spray paint... She said that Yokohama does not manufacture the tires that way, but many of the tuner kids have been using the method that she told me about. hmm... Red lettering anyone? :o

Pzeros come in black or yellow lettering. You just have to order the right part number.

A lot of the Goodyear "Nascar" series tires have big bold yellow lettering.

There is product to color your tires. I forget what its called but have seen people use it. Its like a decal. You apply it like you were doing a crayon relief and it sticks onto the raised lettering. It comes in yellow, blue, red and green. I think the local import shops carry it around here. I will look next time I'm around one.
