94850tx
Hopefully this works, haven't been on in a lonnngg time and somewhat forgot how to post pics. I've got another toy to go with the laser. Not a Volvo but it does match.... The super swampers are gone in favor of making it more driveable with BFG KM2 mud terrains. It's an '82 Scrambler (pick up, kinda rare) on scout Dana 44 axles (stronger/wide track) on 35s, with a built AMC 304 v8 with 360 heads (these had 6cyl of 4cyl only when new), built 727, around 10" of lift (it's 7' tall)...etc...etc...etc I'm redoing a few things to make it better. Here's how it is today: Gotta love LED head lights from Truck-Lite...military grade.

xjflexer
Whoa nice ! I keep kicking around getting a jeep and ditching this whole volvo thing completely That is a VERY sweet Scrambler! I have been contemplating that exact thing myself. Before I got into Volvos, I had a '00 XJ (Cherokee...hence my name...xjflexer) 6.5" long arm RockKrawler 3 link setup, Antirock swayar, ARB air lockers, 4.10 gears, full armor, winch....etc., etc. That thing was unstopable. I loved my weekend excursions in the mountains. I miss it greatly. A buddy of mine recently bought a '98 4Runner. I unstalled a 3" suspension lift, new wheels and larger tires and a few other accessories. He went wheeling with a group for the first time this past weekend and showed me the pics. I am bigtime considering getting a WJ ('99-'04 Grand Cherokee) and building it up. But, I would have to let me 855R go to do it. Decisions decisions. 94850tx
Yes it has limited slip units in it, only 3:73 gears. Fine with the V8, plenty of power, and can still run the highway just fine.
