I know on the 850 jewels, you have to take the reflector out to get HID's to work right. You have to do anything like that?I think I remember you posting something about headlights in the showroom forum a lil while back, but can't remember if it answered any of the above questions.Again though, that is hotness. Where did you score the jeweled lights and corners? I'm trying to find these lights for less than vptuning.com but can't find anywhere else that sells them. What temperature are your HIDs? theunderlord Posted February 11, 2005 Author Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 K real quick, I'll try to answer all the questions..Sean: yes they use a reflector.. that was (one of) my problem when i first installed them.. the regular lights = no reflector. Dave: I got them from MTPOCKITS (thus one of the shout outs) I had to go buy new H11 6K bulbs from a buddy of my freinds (thus the shoutout) because these use H11 bulbs, and my previous HID's were H7. Thanks for all the props guys! this was a 2 week ordeal, but I'm glad they're done! Ok, now to go test drive! wooooooooooooooooo000000000000000t! I actually saw an 03 C70 today and looked at the housing... looks like the CDN version also uses the H11 bulbs so if I want to upgrade, i'll have to get new HIDs... or buy the euro ones.
