matt1122
Service Department Rating: 8/10 for service, 6/10 for value Sales Department Rating: 10/10 for service, 9/10 for value Comments: I decided it is time to update my review of this dealership, as I've had much more positive experiences lately. Service Department: One of my past gripes with Bridgewater Volvo's service department was with the old service manager, who got very defensive and denied that any mechanic who worked there ever made any mistakes when I called to complain about how I found the intake hose disconnected from the filter box in my T-5R a few days after having a service done on the vehicle (something I noticed when the engine started to bog-down, it was mid-summer). She is now gone. I've also noticed that they send out discount coupons for service in the mail, which helps on the value side a bit. While having work done at a dealership is expensive, I prefer the peace of mind I get from having Volvo-trained technicians work on my car. If you feel the same way, this is a decent place to have service performed. Sales Department: Everyone I dealt with while purchasing my 2007 XC70 was very friendly, including my salesperson, Steve Boyland, the salesperson sitting at the next desk, Steve Dolly, the used vehicles manager, Ed, and the business manager, Al. I test drove a few vehicles and Steve was very patient with exploring all of my options. He provided everything I asked for, answered all of my questions even if it meant he had to go do a little research, and really was just a pleasure to work with.
