rmorse
Hey guys, I'm trying to install an aftermarket headunit in my 1989 Ford E350 Ambulance and it's driving me nuts. Stock radio works fine. I bought a wiring harness and hooked everything up but couldn't get any sound. I figured it was the headunit (it was an older one I had lying around) and so I grabbed a better one that I had lying around. I wired it all up and same thing happens... no sound. Stock radio has sound. Wtf. Only thing I can think of is it's because there's only two front speakers and no rears. Am I supposed to wire the fronts and rears together then? rmorse
It actually doesn't even list it. A Google search tells me that a pink wire for eclipse headunit is for Toyota/Lexus.I don't know if that's accurate or not though

theForgottenone
Why don't you let those Audio shop install for like $100 with new head unit. Less headache and time wasting.

rmorse
Didn't realize there was a stock amplifier. All hooked up and working. $100 spent on beer instead of audio shop.
