ConorV70R
ok so i found a fuel leak yesterday. here is a picture of the part thats leaking. leaking right between the two metal piece where they connect. dealership gave me part number 8627953 is that correct and how easy is this to do? cars my daily driver (well except now it isn't) so i need this back and running asap. thanks for any tips or advice anyone has. i also posted this on the V70R site as well. just trying to get quick feedback and see what i'm getting into
andyb5
That is a quick-disconnect fitting. Have you tried pushing it back together to see if seating it a bit tighter will stop the leak?
ConorV70R
yeah the fitting is all messed up. like someone pulled on it and the teeth are out now
andyb5
Ok. The fitting side just makes a quick bend and attaches to the rail. I haven't ever removed it from the rail, but it should be pretty easy to do.
