Brad850 Posted July 17, 2014 Author Report Share Posted July 17, 2014 Pounded on the rivet type clip that holds the flapper circle and ended up reducing excess play. Now the arm is more effective in keeping a tighter seal because it has less room to pivot. Hard to explain but it worked! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's not pretty but...by beating the shit out of it, I reduced the empty space between the small circle and arm. Now there's more leverage and less room for the arm to pivot. mattwebb502 Posted July 18, 2014 Report Share Posted July 18, 2014 this evening I yanked my 6-189-13302 "KN2" housing and replaced with the 189-13202-7 "760" 7CM housing that I received with my Volvo supplied 19t below are pics; new and shiny item is the 7cm EDIT: Initial impressions show no change in performance/behavior/etc on my 2.3l w/auto trans.
