i know i know, they don't exist...

ask this guy: http://forums.swedespeed.com/showthread.php?207709-850R-front-bumper

im restoring a red to it's proper glory and bought it with a standard bumper the previous owner replaced the R bumper with..

i dont care about the color or the condition (to a degree), so long as it's repairable.

im just trying to keep this, and my T5-R, up to the european classic status they deserve; can't really do that with the hokey standard bumper that sets the R's apart.

THANK YOU.

hey man im just trying to be YOU here lol.. you have a correct bumper!

i've actually NEVER seen an R in a yard.. and *if i did i didnt know it cause the bumper and all the parts making it an R were already gone.

if you ever see one, or flat out replace yours i'll take it.

i just wanted to follow up here..

and basically, i REALLY wanted to THANK andy. dude, THANK YOU. i bought the car. and it was 100% worth it as the R bumper is literally *mint. not a crack, scuff or scrape on it.. Andy just, THANK YOU bro.. i've had my red R since last october and the thing i worried about MOST was finding the correct bumper for it.. going through the car and doing the suspension and brakes and pcv system and full stage 0, etc etc means nothing if EVERYthing isn't correct.. this R isn't *restored how it should be without ALL proper bits.. i thank you sincerely for literally taking your time and just being like, "i found one... LINK HERE." you've really made a difference in this project for me and i just really appreciate it man; more than you know. this was a big deal.

- THANK YOU ANDY -

will do!

i was actually in the middle of doing the pcv, pheno spacer and starter so the bumper is going to have to wait a bit.. im having the intake mani and some other bits powdercoated while everything was apart... but i can take pics of the parts car (esp the bumper). the guy rattlecanned it white so there's areas where that's just chipping away and exposing the primer it came in. the car actually runs really nice, got great gas mileage and had no warning lights (not even abs) whatsoever in the 1hr+ drive home.. it also came with 17" pegs and tires, the volvo winter mats, black projector jewel headlights and some other spare parts.. the guy was super nice and in a bind and needed cash and thanks to andy, i was able to capitalize! what made things so cheap was the fact he didnt have the title. i looked up the VIN with a friend who works at a dealership and the car does have a clean title; guy just misplaced it and he IS the last name the car was registered under.. body is near mint. fully loaded GLT and EVERYTHING works! even has the aerial up/down switch that works! the cup holders under the center console are complete and functional and $3 bucks in change under the mats and between the seats lol.

thanks again Andy. i owe you BIG bro.
