and as for 1/4 comparison before an after "note I did not dyno prior "...same thing logic...lets say you have a stock car and it runs 15 seconds in 1/4 mile and you spend 3000$ in bolt on upgrades ...FMIC...custom exhaust ... larger intake ..DP... ect....and you take it back to a track after those mods...aaaaand it runs same 15 seconds....do you get my point??? sure there are many ways to measure, and that would be one of them.

Yes, well... but still ... you can't get away by simply enlarging the plenum at random without any calculations or experimenting and using the runners as is and hoping that you get an intake manifold that will be balanced throughout the whole RPM range.

It simply doesn't work that way.

Furthermore I doubt that the design is really that horrible, bearing in mind that the engine is never ment to be running at 8000RPM.

ok , I give in...it is one f the greatest designed intake manifolds I've have laid my eyes on...i love where they position the 17mm crank vent service bolt...they planned that one out as well...:)

ah that must be the reason you reused these runners then.... :)

no, if you know lill about me...low $'s spent is my goal...can't beat them for the money I spent for them runners...and yes they sucks balls, but are sufficient and they are plenty good for what I am doing ...;)

Nice looking intake. Im curious to see how much your trap speed increases next time you go to the track.

Thanks .... Nooouuw that would be interesting.

powdercoated

no it's TC and BP combo..;) and let me just say the two bolt anchors on intake were welded on after this stuff was applied and it did not bubbled up or peeled off, which the temps reached about 300-400f...good stuff man good stuff..:)
