850T5M
So a little while ago my car started stalling after a hot start. It happened once or twice a month, now it does it all the time and I cannot start the car when it is hot. Basically the engine turns over, it starts, then 0.5-1 second later it stalls. If I pull out the MAF sensor wire (making the car go into open loop) it will start no problem. If i plug the MAF back, it stalls. I just bought a brand new Bosche MAF assuming that was the problem, but it pursists! I guess pulling any sensor off will cause it to start, as it starts reading values off the ECU... What can I look for? IAC? Coolant Temp Sensor? Is there a way of testing these things?
erikv11
Maybe the MAF connector is bad?
