Keep Calm Chive On
Was at the junkyard yesterday rummaging around and to my amazement there was a 427 T5A all optioned out. Was under it & the air dam was already gone which is typical but then I found this curved plastic piece that screws in right where the bumper cover screws in with the T20 Torx screws... just curious as to what it's function is. I tried to google around with the part number but that didn't really get me anywhere. I looked it up in vida but it only shows under the parts catalog & says "Air Dam". Just trying to see if anyone has an explanation as to what it does. I thought maybe it helps redirect air to the radiator rather than send it under the car? and I sorta wanted the battery just because it's a Volvo battery... and only $24.

Keep Calm Chive On
you're such a visionary full of wisdom & information... never put that together when VIDA said "air guide" I figured that it was a sandwich maker not anything related to guiding air as it's name states AIR GUIDE hahaha

burnout8488
Battery should look good cleaned up, I love the OEM ones. But that one is from '09, so it's on borrowed time!
volvoskiah
They all had that at one point. I typically remove them but they seem to be for air flow? The top part is supposed to be connected and not touching the a/c condenser.
