ConorV70R
so i'm ordering the kinugawa wastegate actuator for my 00VR. they give spring options for it but i also have done the IPD HD CBV and have the lighter spring in it now (car is mostly stock minus intake and other little things, running stock boost) when i do, do a tune i will put in the heavier IPD spring provided with the CBV upgrade and i'll install that when the time comes. so.... when ordering this what should i do when it comes to what spring to order? NEU
I'm running the Kinugawa with 7.35psi spring adjusted to 8-9psi cracking and that's the max I can run for my set up. I wouldn't go any higher then that spring and keep an eye on your boost gauge for it hitting overboost and ME7 dialing it back, if it's too much you will get the CEL for overboost. I orginally tried the 14.7psi spring and that was an obvious no go, had to pull it out right after I installed it. Maybe order the 7.35 and the 4.41psi and try out which one you like best as I had to wait over a month for my 7.35 spring to come from Taiwen... ConorV70R
ok cool, still wondering if i can just use my IPD springs i got or are these completely different springs and i'm way off base. when i ordered my CBV from IPD they sent 2 springs on for stock and one for high boost levels

ConorV70R
oh that'd be pretty nice and much easier. i know they're pretty universal when it comes to the mitsubushi turbos but i have to ask. it'll fit a 19t right?

ConorV70R
as for springs if i can't get an answer on if the IPD ones i got with my CBV i would need just the stock spring for now. probably not doing a tune for a few months
