Phil94850 Posted October 14, 2014 Report Share Posted October 14, 2014 Ive been trying to figure out a low boost problem. The ecu is chipped and it should run 15lbs or so and the only way I can get the boost up is tighten the wastegate arm down about 5 turns. I took the exhaust side off the turbo so I could look at the wastegate door and it seems to be awfully loose and it wont seal unless I pull back on the rod which makes sense why im having to tighten it down to increase boost. Ive disconnected the wastegate hose ( which should cause a full boost situation ) and it will only boost to about 8lbs.
