Blockpartie Posted November 24, 2014 Report Share Posted November 24, 2014 Cargo nets integrated into the rear seat backs were an option on any V70, not just the R. But it was pretty much always part of the standard equipment on a R. Very easy to retrofit. Cargo gates exist in two versions, one that uses little dampers to hold it up against the roof / down against the seat back and one that is manually adjusted into position. An actual "dog cage" was available as well. Divides the trunk area in two compartements which can have their own doors. Passenger side door was the one installed on most cars as owners liked their dogs to not be changing their tunes in the rear mounted CD changer.
