Flukey
So I found this switch on the dash for the rear fog lamp. It makes the rear light brighter on the driver side only. I noticed that only the driver side gets brighter when you press the switch. So, I thought that I had a burned out bulb on the passenger side. I checked it out and found that the pass side is blank, in other words, is does not take a bulb! I thought that t be wierd.
Midnight Caller
Europe traffic laws said back then that fog lamp should be only on ONE SIDE so turning it on won't be confused with pressing the brakes by the driver behind you. Nowadays, a lot of german manufacturers have dual rear fogs.
db130
You can drill out the plug on the passenger side tailight and install a new bulb to have dual rear fogs. I have done this on my S70.
burnout8488
You can drill out the plug on the passenger side taillight and install a new bulb to have dual rear fogs. I have done this on my S70. Yep, the bulb fits in the holder, just gotta give it a place to go in the taillight. I used a soldering iron and melted out the hole pretty easily. No drill dust/shrapnel to get stuck in the taillight that way.
