TryingBe
I wanted to put in a wideband and boost gauge before I start changing things in the M4.3 ECU, and eventually put a M4.4 in my 94. I didn't like the A pillar setup and I need my vents to be working. I bought a tray from Volvo and modified to work with the gauges. Aftermarket tray opening is small, get a tray from Volvo Dealer only, part # 9132775 black. I'll let the picture speak for itself.

BlackT5
The only thing I dislike about gauges in that location is if you want to look at them while driving, they're much more out of your field of vision. Especially when you have your foot into the throttle and have to take your eyes off the road.
TryingBe
what is the set up on the water temp gauge? Sensor at the thermostat housing, 1 wire attach to the sensor to the gauge. 12v+ and ground for light. 12v+, ground, and sensor wire for the gauge. I used a 2001 thermostat housing. I had to tap the M10x1.0 hole for 1/8 NPT for the gauge sensor. Then I had to use a 3/8 NPT to 1/8 NPT adapter and tap the adapter hole for M10x1.0 threads for the engine coolant sensor. Turned out great.
z31jaime
I had to trim the edges slightly but this worked just fine for me... and looks a little better I think http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Triple-Single-Din-Radio-3-Gauge-In-Dash-Panel-Pod-52mm-2-/371170940568?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item566b831698&vxp=mtr
