Brad850
Once in a while my brake pedal will stiffen up, and at the same time it sounds(mostly feels) like someone is banging their fist on the firewall. I can feel it slightly through the pedal. If I let go of the brake pedal and then proceed to brake again it will go away and brake normally. Maybe brake booster? I highly doubt it's the abs (the knocking is somewhat slow..maybe two per second) and the only feedback I feel through the pedal is it being hard to push. It's not the normal freakout like when the abs engages.

laird
It is somehow tied to the ABS module. It may be getting bad info from a sensor? Or it may just be acting up like ALL eventually do.
Brad850
Guess i'll check the two sensors. Not getting any lights or codes.
Piston Slapper
It's the ABS module. Mine did that occasionally before it started throwing sensor codes. Hasn't done it since I put a Midwest ABS module on. Free plug for MattyMoo, he's awesome, get a module from him.
