Flukey
I don't want to go crazy on upgrades. I just want to get new bulbs now before I get into a jam and have to go to Autozone of Walfart. I have looked around and found these Nokya H11 55W and Nokya 65W bulbs on Lightbulbs4cars.com. That vendor describes these things as being a nice upgrade to standard Oem volvo bulbs. Has anybody used them or does anybody had advice on replacements? I'am not into looking into HID and Zenon upgrades. Just give me the poop please.
theForgottenone
You can get a kit for $40 on amazon. There is no comparison between hid and halogen.
Flukey
I am aware that HID is far better than Halogen. I frankly am afraid of aftermarket kits. I just don't want to butch up wiring shit. However, I am willing to spend the dough if I will not see any issues in the future. Are these kits easy to install and trouble free afterwords? Do ya have any recomendations on what kit I should use for this upgrade?
Ihatespeedbumps
HID kits are generally plug and play. The only modification involves cutting a hole on the headlight cap so you can insert the wires/grommet. Generally they are very reliable. You'll find that most of us purchase kits from DDM Tuning. If you are looking for a lighting upgrade you could always clean up those plastic lenses and have them re-finished if you have not done so.
