Boxman
Thought I'd show this off now that I finally got around to switching my engine block for the one I've been rebuilding for the past years The footage is taken over the course of the last month or two mostly, including video footage of the first start at the end. Block modifications: - H-beam rods - Bore and hone to 81.5mm - Wiseco 81.5mm forged pistons - Japanifold - Garrett GT3071R - Quaife LSD Soon (after break in) I will install the new injectors, enlarge the MAF housing and aim for a tune in the range of 400 HP

NEU
One of the best engine swap videos I've seen around here.
boxpin
Fun video. Wish I had a lift in my garage. Hey, by the way...where is the top cross support for your lift? Wouldn't take much to make it fold over on itself.

Zappo
Nice. I tried doing that when I did my swap years ago, but the battery in the camera died halfway through.
Boxman
Thanks guys! Mine did a few times at the start too, Zappo, so from the next day onwards I put it on permanent USB-support. @Boxpin, yeah the lift makes life way easier. It's designed without top support apparently though, it came without. The bolts run pretty deep into the floor and it's certified till 3000KG so I'm not too worried. lookforjoe
Nice work! What injectors do you have to go in? 550/650cc range should be plenty for your goal. Are you using TunerPro?
Zappo
I didn't have an easy way to power the camera, so I scraped the idea. It was an older GoPro. I am surprised you didn't drop the engine out the bottom. A lot less stuff you have to remove.
Boxman
I thought about dropping it from the bottom, but I wanted to clean and check the whole engine-bay and subframe while I was at it anyway. It wasn't shown on the timelapse but I actually spent multiple days cleaning, de-rusting and painting the bay and subframe. @lookforjoe, I've got 650cc ones if I'm not mistaken, I bought them quite some time ago already. I plan to do the tuning myself, but have yet to properly study up on it before I start. If TunerPro is the Motronic 4.4 way, then yes.
