adamvolvos70t5 Posted February 17, 2015 Report Share Posted February 17, 2015 My sc-901 appears to have finally kicked the bucket (cd not reading this always was a problem, and recently the tuning button stopped working so i can't change radio stations). I did some reading already not much. But has anyone been able to fit an aftermarket head unit to work with the factory stuff easily? I read that some say its better if i just swap everything (head unit, amp, and rewire speakers). But i don't really want to do that. I would just like a simple remove head unit, make the required wires for the new head unit and any minor tapping or soldering, and install new unit and turn on. Any info would be appreciated.
