Part is discontinued world wide.

16" brakes came stock on these P80 cars:

- some S70, V70 and C70

-most 03+ C70 convertibles

Big Will - who did you contact? Not all dealers in Germany have the same kind of access.

Any identifiable markings to make it easy to distinguish?

I can start grabbing them off the cars that come through here at work.

when things start becoming 'discontinued' it reminds me

This is a really good point. Subconsciously, I still think of an 850 as 'not that old'. As such, you expect them to be super-reliable.

Then you think about it a little and realise that the P80 platform actually started in 1992 (now 23 years old), an 850T5R is 20 years old this year and a 'really late' 850R is 18 years old this year.
Even the last cars on the P80 platform are now 15 years old!

When you think about it like that, you can excuse them for needing a little more love every now and then. ;)

10 years. Volvo kept the C70 convertible around until model year 2005.
