mattwebb502
I have 2 available if anyone needs them. PM me with an offer.I've always had a set in the back of my mind.... for towing reasons. And now that I'm finally due for a brake job they're discontinued --- If they don't sell to a performance minded soul, which I'm sure they will, shoot me your price. Piston Slapper
eh...stopping suddenly applies to all cars. I'd like a set for my s70.While I would like to put 302s on my N/A, I'm not going to pretend it's for real sudden stop under normal circumstances. because they won't matter for that. Once you've got breaks that can lock up your wheels, it all comes down to tires in a panic stop. Unless you plan on doing multiple back to back panic stops, they won't make a damn bit of difference in the real world.
ashvolvo
10 years. Volvo kept the C70 convertible around until model year 2005.Valid point. Not sure if they ran 302mm brakes though.
Piston Slapper
Valid point. Not sure if they ran 302mm brakes though. They did, and were very common if not standard in the last few years of production. Although there's no 2005 model, 2004 was the last model year. They had made some later in the year that were originally going to be '05 models but cancelled the model for '05 and sold the few leftovers as '04s. My mother's vert was actually one of those late '04s and showed up as an '05 in some parts of Volvo's system, but is officially an '04.

Piston Slapper
No P80 is going to be unable to lock up unless there's something terribly wrong with the brake system.
Brad850
So you're saying larger brakes have no effect on stopping distance?
