Upgraded Front Motor Mount

The pass side motor mount is available in a stiffer version for 302 cars, not the front. I got just the mount for my car and added the AWD spacer as I couldn't find the one for 302 AWD cars. IIRC IPD or FCP listed the different part #.

Sooo when I put the Porsche BBK on I should have swapped my passenger mount? REALLY? Really? really? ;)

Yes... I had to replace mine so I didn't want to downgrade mine to the softer version.. ;)

Oh I am all about upgrades. I just cant wrap my head around how the mount ties into brakes. The ridicule is for Volvo engineers. ;)

Better brakes means more leverage on the rotors, which transfers to the hubs, which transfers to the axles, which transfers to the trans, which transfers to the motor, which is all support by the motor mounts.

Duh.

Duh.

Not exactly in this order...but yes the engine will suffer more G-s in that case if the braked tires can keep up the increased decceleration.
